The Basics - Custom Auto Replies
You can create thousands - yes thousands of custom auto replies for your customers. It's
very simple and intuitive. You can create them one at a time, or upload a mass file containing
thousands (let us help you with the mass upload - after the first time, you'll have it
down).
Here are some examples:
Say a customer wants to know the location of your business. They could ask this in a variety
of ways, so you'll want to cover all of the relevant key words, such as 'address', 'location',
'located' and 'locate'. So when a customer texts "What is your address?", they can get
back a custom auto reply, "Thank you for your inquiry. We're located at 123 Main Street, Any City, USA. We hope to see you soon!"
Customers may want to know your hours. Relevant key words could be 'hours', 'open',
'closed', 'close'. So when a customer texts, "Are you guys still open?" or "Are you closed
on Sundays?", you could set up a custom reply that says:
Thanks for your text!
Our hours are:
Sun-Thurs, 11am-11pm
Fri/Sat, 11am-2am
Let's say your business has a happy hour. Key words might be 'happy', 'happy hour', 'HH',
or 'specials'. Now, if a customer texts, "When is your happy hour?", they could receive:
Thanks for your text!
Happy Hour is M-F, 3pm-7pm
We have great food and drinks specials!
A customer may be interested in knowing whether your business has any sales or specials
going on. Some businesses may have daily/weekly/monthly deals. Your key words may be
'special', 'deal' or 'sale'. A customer texts "Hey do you guys have any specials [deals]
[sale] going on?" An auto reply such as the following could be created:
Thanks for texting! We have a special going all of October.
Save 50% on a combination mani/pedi. Text or call to make an
appointment!
Thanks for texting! We have a delicious dinner special today.
An 8 ounce filet mignon, baked potato, veggies, salad and dessert
for only $29.99. Text us for reservations, or just come on in!
Thank you for texting! We have a great sale on all roses
through Mother's Day. 25% off all rose arrangements,
plus a free beautiful spring vase.
Here's another cool trick you can do with Morse. A customer may text you "Do you guys
have a website?" You can set up key words like 'website' or 'online' with a custom
auto-reply:
Yes, we have a great website! Here's the link http://www.textmorse.com
The customer will actually receive a text with the link to your website.
A customer might be interested in a property for sale. The customer may text "listings"
and you can have a custom auto-reply such as "For a list of all our properties for sale, click
here (link)". Or, they might text "List 123456" and you can set up an auto-reply such as
"Here's some information on the property at 123 State Street, Las Vegas, NV, 89119. Click
here (link) for more details".
